Was at the launch of Dance by Jean Tan a couple of weeks ago, and gosh, I am falling in love with her music. The beautiful melody, touching lyrics and soothing voice in her album will surely impress you! Influenced by Tori Amos and Damien Rice, her music also bear similarities to Joanna Wang and Corrine May. My favourite tracks include You Look into my Heart and Dance. I was recently introduced to the work of Inch Chua – a local independent artist. I love her airy, acoustic and whimsical music creations. “Aqueous Oblivion” is my personal favourite!
