Jason san.

He is turning Japanese.

First, his major love for Japanese food.

Second, a proposal trip in Japan.

Third, adopting Barley a Japanese Spitz whom he often calls Mugicha even though she refuses to respond.

Forth, answering my call by saying “Mushi mushi”

Recent Japanese hobby, whipping up Japanese home cook food featured in the previous post.

Gosh. Jason san.

It’s supposed to be a date night Wednesday but it went all wrong. GRR

//He served up his apology at 1020pm. Will share more about it when I get the photos.

He brought me to Dozo for my birthday dinner. It was beyond my expectation. It was really good! Dozo is a modern fine dining Japanese restaurant at Valley Point which specializes in Japanese-French cuisines. It was good, it was more than good, it was amazing!

This is not a table ornament. This is edible. A snack in between the 7 course dinner. It’s actually Japanese noodles.

We each had one of these to cleanse our palate before we start our dinner.

Starter

We each had a platter of starter. This was good but not amazing.

Cold Dish

Hers: Succulent king crab claw salad drizzled with sesame vinaigrette

Awesome.

His: Tataki with shaved parmesan and truffle mayo mosaic

Awesome.

Side Dish

Hers: Tempura battered soft shell crab on galette of mash

Average

His: Gratinated escargots topped with yuzu butter

He almost flew to heaven.

Soup

His: Crab bisque

It was so good!

Hers: Infusion of cepes mushroom and truffle

OMG.

Main

His: Herbs-braised lamb shank

He is in food heaven at this point.

Hers: Beef tenderloin on “pu-ye” and granite hot stone

THIS IS THE BEST! The beef just melts in my mouth. Hmmmmm.

Dessert

Hers: Freshly baked warm chocolate cake served with ice-cream

I flew to heaven grinning like mad!

His: Dozo’s “mo-cha” crème brulee

Yummilicious!

Drinks

His: Iced grapefruit melody

Hers: Iced fruity refresher

A nice refreshing drink to end the dinner. It was perfect and Dozo’s staff made it even better with this complimentary cake!

Their service was superb. Responsive, knowledgeable and friendly, they are true blue service professionals.

Thank you love for everything! I love it!

He brought me to Universal Studios Singapore’s Hollywood After Hours as a prequel to my birthday celebration! I love theme park and am really excited to go! A few months back, we intended to go there as my birthday outing but we had to postpone it because of its defunct Battlestar rides! It is a good alternative while we wait patiently!

Excited!

Special appearance by Shrek.

Trying to look the part of a beauty on a car. HAH.

WAH

Magic Potion!

I love castle!

Waiting for the fireworks!

The highlight of the evening. Their firework is even better than the ones in Tokyo Disneyland!

I love these shooting-star-like fireworks!

Thank you love!

I love Friday date night! Simple local delights at East Coast lagoon and a breezy walk with him and Barley!

Thank you love!

I love date night Friday. Just us two.

I saw this and it reminded me of him! My froggie!

P.S: He in OBS @ Pulau Ubin is worst than he being in army (it’s my guess!)! Freaking give the corporate people some decent mobile reception will you!

In my adolescent years, I’ve never dated anyone who happens to be in the army (thankfully!) but today I felt like I’m dating someone who is in camp! HAH. His company sent him to OBS for some team building / leadership training for five days at Pulau Ubin (kind of like Pulau Tekong?) ! He can’t use mobile phone during the day, he goes through all the physical hardships and when he called he sounded terribly tired. PHEW. Thankfully it’s only five days and not two years!

I miss you!

I love taking Polariod (or the not so cool official name, Instax Fujifilm Instant Picture)!

I love him because he takes nice pictures!

I love his dimple! So cute!

Sometimes a little surprise in a relationship will bring people closer, keeping it fresh and strong! I mailed him a card and place a froggie on his desk to surprise him! He loves the frog! HAH.
