I love meeting up with the girls. Great food at Professor Brawn Café at a great price.

Love it when the girls come back from holidays! I need a holiday too!

We are so blessed to have girlfriends with awesome boyfriends! Lennel got us girls these badges. CW is always purple and SA is always pink. Lennel decides to allocate who is Little Miss Giggles and Little Miss Sunshine! The conclusion? I am Little Miss Giggles because he cannot imagine SQ giggling! HAHA. Thank you Lennel (I will be writing a thank you post soon, closer to date. hee)

It is quite rare we didn’t take any pictures of ourselves that night and this is one of those rare moments! HAH.

After dinner we headed for desserts and played a game with SA. A game to analyze and evaluate her love life. We called it “Learning Journey” (OK. We are not creative. Yawn)

Dinner at Marche

We went out on Friday to celebrate Jingwei and Victor’s birthday again! There is always a reason to hangout and celebrate! We ate at Marche and it was my second or third time eating Marche. The crowd on Friday evening is crazy! We queued for nearly an hour and a half just to get in! Our second activity only starts after eleven so we decided to just hang in there despite the long wait.

Their rosti is good but I don’t think it’s worth the queue! Anyway, I’m glad we hang out as friends (instead of during work hours)! We had a lot of fun and should definitely do this more often!

We only took one picture outside our secret second activity due to some unspoken house rules. I’ll upload it when Stephanie sends it to us! Hee.

Catch Up Session

Met up with Maxine for dinner last Wednesday for Out of the Pan. It is really yummy and there is a UOB card 1-for-1 promotion from Monday to Thursday! Love cheap yummy treats!

We updated each other of our lives and this girl never fails to surprise me!

Ate some yogurt ice cream too! Yum yum!

SSSS girls were at Choupinette for a mini one year anniversary celebration over brunch. It’s a petite French pastry cafe. I love their cakes! I thought Cedele’s brunch is better but their cozy setting and yummy sweet treats are splendid!

Tung Lok Dim Sum Buffet

During the weekend I went ECP for roller blading / cycling with my CG members! Did I enjoy enjoy myself? Yes. But was it painful? YES! It has been more than 5 years since I last bladed and I thought given the size of my butt it would be a “soft landing” even when I fall. Gosh, I was wrong! I’ve got a huge bruise on my butt cheek now. WTH.

Thereafter we headed for Tung Lok Dim Sum buffet! For about $20 per pax, we had a whole lot of dim sum! Very yummy and definitely value for money!

I love dim sum!

Pine Garden’s Cake.

Finally! An innocent post all about food! Nothing about wedding! It’s just a feature about cakes! We stumbled upon Pine Garden’s Cake last weekend without realizing their popularity among cake lovers!

They have interesting flavours like Lychee Martini and Bailey’s Choc Crunch!

We tried their Blackforest and Lychee martini! I love their Blackforest! I love the liquor in there! I love their soft fluffy sponge cakes with the sinful creams in between!

I saw these pretty butter cookies! Erm, if only I can have them on my dessert table during my wedding (sorry guys!) it will be perfect! But a tiny bag of these cost $2.50!

So far so good. It’s still a decent post introducing cakes! Nothing about wedding. Until. I. Saw. Their. Magazine features up on their wall! It’s all from Style Weddings!

The sensitive bridezilla rising in action! They create wedding cakes and Guo Da Li cakes too (cakes to be given to relatives a few weeks before your actual day)!
