I Love Wedding Blogs

You are currently browsing the archive for the I Love Wedding Blogs category.

It’s been a long while since I last feature any wedding blogger in my “I love Wedding Blogs” series! This time round, I bring you Back Full Circle by a Chinese Muslim bride-to-be who is planning her Singapore wedding all the way from London. A designer at work and a seemingly stylish bridezilla at heart, I look forward to her cozy wedding!

Her idea of having a Wedding Sunday where they discuss wedding matters instead of having the insane urge to drop wedding ideas into every conversation makes total sense! I can identify with her and I’m sure Jason will thank her if we implement this too!

It has been a long while since I last share “I love Wedding Blog” in SbR! City Cradle Design is one down-to-earth, sincere and beautiful wedding blog filled with lovely DIY elements! Victoria, an event stylish, who started the blog, shared her passion, designs and inspirations in handcrafted celebrations here!

There are a few ideas I personally adore these ideas!

Hellen from welovelaughkiss featured in our “I love Wedding Blogs” took the plunge along with her friend Lily to set up a wedding planning services – “Diary & Design: A wedding Service”!

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate both of them! With Hellen’s eye for details and Lily’s wedding planning expertise, I’m sure Diary & Design would be a blast! Have fun poking around their site for inspirations and learning!

I am smitten with this inspiration board found in Diary & Design Wedding’s blog. It is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Both the colour (Blue, peach, yellow/cream) and the theme (Whimsical and Kitschy) are just right! It matches the colour I had in mind which was found here.

Baby, can you see what I wanted for our wedding already?

It’s been a long while since I last share about Wedding Blog! Here’s another one in our series of “I love Wedding Blogs!”.

Project Wedding is a one stop site which shares and reviews various wedding vendors in the states. There are also many charming ideas and tips in there! Their extension – Project Wedding Blog – also gathers some fascinating real wedding ideas!

I can so imagine Barley participating in our pre-wedding photo shoot! Imagine having her in our wedding ceremony! It’s just a thought! My sister and Sue Ann will surely kill me! HAH.

A post for “I Love Wedding Blogs” series.

Adding to the family of “I Love Wedding Blogs” series we have Green Wedding Shoes! Started by Jen Campbell, Green Wedding Shoes shares and inspires many couples with gorgeous photography, vintage details and many other wedding ideas! It is one of my main sources of inspiration aside from Style Me Pretty, for I love both blogs for their stunning real life weddings they featured!

Here is one inspiration I got from Fina & Nathan’s wedding! Bottles on pew, just the way I like it!

One of the featured couple in our “I love Wedding Blogs” Series got married last weekend. Their wedding was amazing. I thought it was really heartwarming to see how a carefully planned out wedding is being executed to such perfection. Congratulation Hellen and Winston!

After resisting to blog about wedding for an entire week, it’s finally our series of “I love Wedding Blog” before we enter into the new week! I’m keeping this really short! I love Bridal Buzz‘s DIY wedding and party ideas! Beautiful yet practical ideas can be found here!

Here’s one of my favourite! I love vintage blue glass jars but I’ve not come across any of these here, but don’t fret, here’s a cheat sheet for you girls! A tutorial to turn a regular transparent glass jar into beautiful “vintage” aqua jar!

I am pleased to bring you my next blog feature in the weekly “I love Wedding Blogs” series!

For readers who are new to SbR, the writer is a self confessed bridezilla who is often dreaming about her perfect wedding. In her pursue to bring beautiful things to her dream wedding, she found countless of inspiring wedding blogs which she generously shares with all her readers (willing or unwilling victims)! Hence, the weekly sharing in SbR’s “I love Wedding Blogs” series! Ok. I shall cut the crap and stop talking from a third person.

In this week’s wedding blog, I found a divine source of inspiration to select colour themes for weddings!  Michelle Mospens is a brilliant and wedding obsessed artist who founded My Personal Artist – a business providing custom and hand painted invitations! In her sketchbook, you will find the latest wedding color trends, stunning wedding invitation ideas and wording etiquette.

If you are looking for a colour theme for your wedding, you are in for a treat!

This is the place where I found my wedding colour theme! YES. I am announcing my wedding colour theme right here right now!

I’ve been trying to find colours which match baby blue (for a reason which I will reveal closer to date) and till date this is the best combination I’ve found! It’s brilliant! It’s neither too pinkish-girly-wedding-ly nor overly used. I like that it’s a little whimsical, a little lively and is able to blend to the nature!

The closest Pantone® color matches {by viewing on a computer screen} are Coral 1785, Ice Blue 278 and Buttercup Light Yellow 1205

According to Michelle, this colour palette mixes modern textures with nature and art! Awww.

Warning: This is a wedding related post.

In this week’s I love Wedding Blogs” series, I will be featuring a wedding site which focuses on vintage style weddings. I love the details, clever ideas and vintage yet timeless style weddings! Amanda – the owner and editor of Ruffled – started this blog as a source of inspiration for vintage brides planning their wedding (which started off while planning for her own 1930s inspired wedding) ! I love the DIY wedding projects (which I will be sharing in the later post) featured in her blog as well!

Ruffled inspires sophisticated creativity for your Wedding without any sacrifice. Fashion conscious sensibility combined with trendy attitude and vintage inspired romance reflects the spirit of today’s stylish bride.”
