Had a G-chat session this afternoon with Suzybabe and gosh, I miss her! She’s my little birdie during our Auckland and Post-Auckland time. Sigh. That was so long ago. Auckland Case Competition.

I miss all the fun we had in Auckland!

All of us rocking the “house” in the hotel. HAH.

Little birdie! I love your blog’s background! I’ve not only added you in my blogroll but I’ve also written a post for you! In return, you’ve got to blog more often! HAHA.

I love using eye shadows to enhance my eyes but I’m impossibly bad at it. I’m wishing this cheat sheet from AngMoGirl’s blog will help turn myself into a stunning beauty with adoring eyes! HAHA. In SbR’s spirit, a girl can dream, can’t she?

I’ve always wonder why zippers have YKK on until I saw this post at todayifoundout.com. It’s a cool site where random-useless information are available. HAH.

ykk

Today I found out why zippers have a YKK on them.   The YKK stands for Yoshida Kogyo Kabushikikaisha (say that five times fast).  In 1934 Tadao Yoshida founded Yoshida Kogyo Kabushikikaisha (translated Yoshida Industries Limited).  This company is now the worlds foremost zipper manufacturer, making about 90% of all zippers in over 206 facilities in 52 countries.”

As you can probably tell from my past entries on Blake Wright and eggnmeiyo, I admire individuals who are capable of expressing their thoughts through drawings! This morning I stumbled upon Marc Johns’ works and thought they were really cute! Here are some of my favorites!

A good friend of mine set up a new blog – Project Love 365 – on the eve of twenty ten. I love her posts which captured snapshots depicting love in and around her life!

“Where is the love?” This is probably the burning question on many people’s minds nowadays. This project aims to take a picture per day which captures a snapshot of what love really is. Hopefully by the time year 2010 is up, one will start to believe in fairytales again. Inspired by Project 365 as well as Chris Craymer’s Pre-Mortgage Love.

I first saw this at my little sister’s blog and gosh, my sister is all grown up! A series of hilarious-sexist-too-much-details-jokes in the form of drawings and here are some (“cleaner “jokes) which caught my attention!

About Blake Wright.

bw9How accurate! HAHA.

Disclaimer: The sharing of Blake Wright’s blog does not represent the endorsement of his values by SbR. HAHA. It’s too funny to not share them though! HAHA.

I was blog surfing and I came across eggnmeiyo and thought it was really cute! A self professed character animator, occasional illustrator, foodie and crafter (Extracted from her blog). This local blogger expresses herself using her best talent. That is to draw. A pretty cute and refreshing way of blogging!

You guys should be thankful I didn’t start expressing myself through drawing, otherwise half the time you will be scratching your head trying to decipher whether that strange animal that I’ve drawn is a pig, cow or dog when it’s obviously a chicken.

A friend who rarely connects to the outside world started blogging! I was totally surprised! He asked SbR to provide some feedbacks about his blog and gosh, I like it!

A potentially ranty blog of a guy who is stuck in a bank turned out hilariously entertaining.

“Too bad the job sucks . I feel more like a fictitious Banglah doing virtual system maintenance than a bank employee. The skills that we learn here are so niche that I probably cannot bring them else where . Leaves me wondering if it is the reason why my boss has been stuck in the same dept for the past 7 years. Working in a bank indeed . It feels more like working in a bang where the sound denotes your head hitting the desk after you see your workload and skills required. Yes I am blogging during office … So sue me”

There are countless (Thousands? Millions?) of blogs in this blogosphere and it is often hard to find an interesting read especially when millions of blogs feature photo-whoring, pathetic-life-whining and see-who-has-got-the-plainest-blogging skills.

Finally. I found an interesting read and being an individual who is caring, polite, agreeable, attractive, becoming, charming, commendable, considerate, cordial, courteous, cultured, delightful, friendly, gentle, good, gracious, helpful, kind, lovely and pleasant, it is almost immoral to not share the link with my readers.

fashion nation

“Fashion Nation covers fashion on the Internet and blogosphere, including independent fashion sites, online fashion magazines, and the latest trends. At the same time, the Fashion Nation creators place emphasis on the fashion scene in Singapore, where they hail from.

Fashion Nation is a joint effort between two childhood friends, Dottie and Stephie, whose ten-years-old friendship has been strengthened through activities such as scouring through fashion magazines, discovering quirky vintage shops, uniting over beer and a lot of good food. They grew up in Singapore – the Land of the Eternal Summer, living as citizens of the Little Red Dot.”

Personally, a good read possesses (1) enchanting writing skills, (2) fascinating topics/content, (3) eye/mind/heart capturing pictures and a (4) vivacious personality. I think they have it all. Enjoy!
