A girl. with. lots of random shits. filling. her head. Loves writing nonsense. Enjoying her life before she turns lumpy, wrinkly, saggy and old. Loves traveling. Dysfunctional family. Loves the sun (but hates the tan), sea, sand and stars.

We are flying to Seoul for a company incentive trip on 31 May and we have extended 3 days to just shop and hang out in Seoul! Three years back when I went to Seoul, my friend passed me a Korea travel guide from Korea Tourism Organization and it served me well! Informative, compact and handy with those subway maps and basic Korean languages we toured the area free and easy with little difficulties. This time round, I popped by their Singapore office at Raffles Place and got their latest copy for my friends! The best of all? It’s free! This was the best tip given to me to prepare for any trip to Korea!

I have to agree! My home and life without art will be EH too. Haha.

Remember in my earlier post I was talking about the Blue Bird of Happiness? Here is what we did for our Pre-Wedding photo shoot. A little DIY over here.

“ The mythology of the bluebird of happiness has deep roots that go back thousands of years. Indigenous cultures across the globe hold similar myths and beliefs about the bluebird. It is a widely accepted symbol of cheerfulness, happiness, prosperity, hearth and home, good health, new births, the renewal of springtime, etc. Virtually any positive sentiments may be attached to the bluebird.

In magical symbolism, bluebirds are used to represent confidence in the positive aspect and egotism in the negative. A dead bluebird is a symbol of disillusionment, of the loss of innocence, and of transformation from the younger and naive to the older and wiser.”

I just booked my flight via Tiger to Bangkok. I am going in July! Yay! I think I am traveling a little too much, with Osaka this Sunday, Seoul at the end of this month, then Bangkok in July! I can’t wait! I think it will be a nice trip with my family and my sister dearie!

Sometimes he can be that anal about things that he rather quarrel about it than make peace.

// What are some of your husband’s pet peeves? He has a ton and I can probably make a Top 100 list out of it.

We had lunch at this quaint little cafe – The Next Door Deli – at an unlikely location in Ang Mo Kio! It is a self service place which serves affordable and cozy Asian and Western food. Nothing fancy just a little old school white-washed cafe with old-fashioned metal grilles and dining area on a pretty synthetic grass mat. It is not something I will travel for because I stay in the East. But for the Northies, it is a great place to chill and relax with your friends on a weekend or just chase your blues with a Monday lunch here.

You will be glad to know that this little cafe is own by the bakery just beside them, the famous Pine Garden and you can order a slice of fluffy lychee martini cream cake from them and have it there too!

// On a side note, my work pal and I made a boo boo today. We travelled to Bugis only to find ourselves at the wrong place for our meeting which was at One Marina Boulevard instead. Thankfully we were just on time by the time we rushed over. HAH.

On a weekend afternoon, we were chilling out at home and he took a picture of me and commented that I look like Jojo Sinclair. What a “sweet and loving” husband I have! Go google if you’ve not seen Jojo. My husband is pure evil.

We rode to Changi City Point on a Saturday morning and love that it has got a nice place to park our bikey!

We were at my neighbour/colleague’s son 1 year old birthday party and gosh, his birthday cake is so adorable! I’m not sure if it is yummy because I didn’t have a chance to eat it but it sure was a talking piece at the party!

We spent our Friday date night at Two Fat Man for late dinner! Their Thai food is yummy and affordable! You should try their grill pork neck! Yums.
