He brought me to Dozo for my birthday dinner. It was beyond my expectation. It was really good! Dozo is a modern fine dining Japanese restaurant at Valley Point which specializes in Japanese-French cuisines. It was good, it was more than good, it was amazing!
This is not a table ornament. This is edible. A snack in between the 7 course dinner. It’s actually Japanese noodles.
We each had one of these to cleanse our palate before we start our dinner.
Starter
We each had a platter of starter. This was good but not amazing.
Cold Dish
Hers: Succulent king crab claw salad drizzled with sesame vinaigrette
Awesome.
His: Tataki with shaved parmesan and truffle mayo mosaic
Awesome.
Side Dish
Hers: Tempura battered soft shell crab on galette of mash
Average
His: Gratinated escargots topped with yuzu butter
He almost flew to heaven.
Soup
His: Crab bisque
It was so good!
Hers: Infusion of cepes mushroom and truffle
OMG.
Main
His: Herbs-braised lamb shank
He is in food heaven at this point.
Hers: Beef tenderloin on “pu-ye” and granite hot stone
THIS IS THE BEST! The beef just melts in my mouth. Hmmmmm.
Dessert
Hers: Freshly baked warm chocolate cake served with ice-cream
I flew to heaven grinning like mad!
His: Dozo’s “mo-cha” crème brulee
Yummilicious!
Drinks
His: Iced grapefruit melody
Hers: Iced fruity refresher
A nice refreshing drink to end the dinner. It was perfect and Dozo’s staff made it even better with this complimentary cake!
Their service was superb. Responsive, knowledgeable and friendly, they are true blue service professionals.
Thank you love for everything! I love it!
