The climb up the Great Wall of China was the highlight of this entire trip! I’ve always wanted to climb up there! It’s one of the must see that I’ve set in my life amongst many other great UNESCO Sites.

Aww. I love it!

I’m sparing you guys from all the boring wiki facts about Great wall!  I doubt this universe famous site (you can actually see it from the Moon) requires any introduction! So I’m going to flood this post with lots of pictures! I can’t get enough of it!

Look at the flowers! I think it is some sort of mountain cherry blossoms.

P4170186

Still going strong!

Flowers again! I love them!

I thought we only aimed for the third tower! But we just kept going even on all fours!

P4170198

It is definitely worth the climb!

Up up up.

P4170204

We finally reached the end of the trail! The top of the route! The seventh tower! I guess all my gym sessions paid off!

Our victory pose!

Seven of us made it to the top. One of them was not in the picture because he finished it within 22 minutes (average man takes 30 minutes) while we were still walking up! Steph and I were the only two girls from our trip to made it all the way up! Girl Rocks!

P4170213

We went up panting, came down shaking (our knees and legs!)

I bought a medal for myself with my name engraved on it. A medal for the true (wo)man.

I was at Daiso yesterday and I came across the perfect reusable bag! Compact in size, water proof and decent looking! I always wanted one of these but they are either overpriced or comes with ugly prints! So I was really excited when I found this compact reusable bag! I picked brown because he refused to hold anything that is pink or girly! HAH. It’s always good to plan for the future, in case my shopping gets too heavy!

Now you have no more excuses not to carry a reusable bag around! Save the Earth!

I’m back with a new blog feature for the “I love Wedding Blogs” series and this time round I’m featuring one of my favourite local wedding blogger – Miss Ene!

Chronicles of a Wedding is a blog set up to record Miss Ene’s wedding preparation leading up to her wedding on May 2009. Even after her wedding, Miss Ene continues to blog about her marriage life, her friend’s wedding and other sweet little things she shares with her husband. Unlike other commercial wedding blogs which focus mainly on wedding vendors and people’s beautiful wedding, her blog seems more personal, like a sharing from a friend.

It’s day three!

“The Temple of Heaven, literally the Altar of Heaven is a complex of Taoist buildings situated in the southeastern part of central Beijing, in Chongwen District. The complex was visited by the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest. This temple was also inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998!”

We did a jump shot again!

A shot with our smiley MD!

We went to check out OMSQ. Love the place except the heat, the soil (I can’t wear stiletto on my wedding day if I hold my wedding there! It will definitely sink into the soil!), the mosquitoes (I was bitten thrice within 2 minutes, if I’m holding my wedding there, I need to wear five anti-mosquito patches at the same time!), the lack of parking lots, the distance we had to walk from the parking lot and the inaccessible location (which is not near any train station)! Other than that, it’s a perfect place to hold an outdoor wedding; I love the greens, the big old tree, the space and the potential of being a perfect outdoor wedding!

I know I know, I’m being cynical! I’m just trying to rationalize my thoughts and evaluate the location before I jump into it. Oh gosh. I may have to drop the idea of an outdoor wedding in Singapore.

We head over to Overeasy for a mini drink and update session by Siqi and Sue Ann!

Congratulation Siqi for ditching the falsehearted man who claimed to have “Tiger Wood Syndrome”! (GUYS, there are no such thing as “Tiger Wood” syndrome! It’s all in the mind, so stop using it as an excuse or a getaway seal!). Babe, I’m really happy you got out of it to pursue a greener pasture!

Sue Ann! Even though I won’t exactly congratulate you now (hopefully in the near future), but I hope you will go meditate, find your true self and an answer before jumping into the Fire of Love! HAH.

Squareberry. I have nothing to say to you. Just, stay happy and in love! HAHA.

Before we met the SSSS girls, I met up with Sue Ann for dinner! I love Sushi Teh (as usual) and I love Sue Ann (alot) ! We talked a lot, or rather, I teased her a lot on her New Found Love! Awww.

I was in the office on a Saturday for the very first time and it was dark and creepy!

Our MD was there and he gave us chocolates from Germany knowing that we came back on a Saturday for work! How sweet!

We ended Day 2 with a blast at Mix Club (Inside Worker’s Stadium North Gate,
Gongti)! I love hiphop and R&B! I love great company!
