The Majestic but Shy Fuji-san.

If you are wondering where our beds are, there ain’t any. HAH. We picked the Japanese traditional room and ended up sleeping on the floor for two nights.

All ready for a bath except that I had to share my most intimate with the middle aged women there. HMPH.

The room has got no private showering facility but the lodge provided hot public bath with a Hakone highland view. The baths draw water from Owakudani Valley, located in the middle of Hakone’s volcanically active region where volcanic gas is released and is all 100 percent natural without added water or heat! AWESOME!

    Hi,

I’m thinking to book into this inn but the website didnt’ give enough details about access to their inn. Is it hard to find? How do we get there from Odawara station? If by bus, is the bus part of the Hakone Free Pass?

    Thank you.

Hi there, yes we took a bus from the train station and yes I think it is included in the bus pass. Got to walk a short distance from the bus stop. Probably 100 metres. On the bus there is actually announcement /sign, you can email the inn for more info too! You can also ask at the tourist information centre at the train station! They are really friendly! :)

Have fun! If you like a cosy place you will like it there!
