NYE.

I hung out with a bunch of boys (his friends) during New Year’s Eve. HAHA. Before the countdown, we had overpriced zi char (Chinese dishes) at a lovely place near the shore. If not for the location I doubt anyone would pay for the mediocre food and bad service.

His friend drove us around in his BMW while I enjoyed my 20 minutes of luxury at the backseat.

After dinner we headed down to ECP for a mini picnic at the lawn outside Timbre Mobile! I love free surround-sound music by the beach! While waiting for twenty ten the boys played cards, drank wine and ate cheese and snacks at the lawn.

One source of entertainment was this young couple who had their lips locked for more than 30 minutes. It was distracting for the card playing boys but it was fun while I started snapping pictures.

We saw the firecrackers from Marina but the highlight was magic stars (flares) released by the ships in the sea at midnight. It was magical – I felt like one of the floating stars – while it lasted.

We ended our night with the sparklers and the boys went crazy!
