Whack-the-wooden-nails.

Parents do not try this in a train. I witnessed a mum who decided to train her son’s psychomotor skills with a “whack-the-wooden-nails” toy. The main aim of this game is to whack all the wooden nails down with all your might and when you are done, flip the toy over and continue whacking. Repeat the first two steps till the child is tired, sick of it or till someone stops him/her.

So throughout my train journey, the boy was whacking the nails with a wooden hammer and the mum sat by and praise him for the job well done as the other passengers watched in disbelief. OMG. Doesn’t she know it’s extremely noisy? Even with my earphones on, I can hear the whacking and knocking. How inconsiderate!?
