$20 Summon.

Do you remember about a month ago, we all read on the news about the 6,200 summonses issued to pedestrians who were caught jaywalking? I actually caught them in action today! Imagine yourself trying to cross a river and have two crocodiles staring at you at the opposite bank. That was exactly how I felt!  A policeman, a policewoman and a police car were on standby this morning just to issue jaywalkers a $20 summon.
