I was at a company event to celebrate our second anniversary at Culina, Dempsey. Served in tapas style, the food was good and the free flowing wine was fabulous. Being an amateur wine drinker I was glad to sit next to our wine buyer who gave me a crash course all about wine and dine.
Here’s some of the food served.

Brown Brothers Zibibbo Rose
My personal favourite! Affordable and pinkilicious. This sweet and girly wine is definitely going to be on my next wine list!

Fresh Oysters – Yuzu Dressing

Vodka Cream and Kaviari Salmon Roe
Rongopai Sauvignon Blanc
I like white too. Pretty sweet.

Cauliflower Cream with Lumpfish Roe

Confit of Tomato

Grilled Sakura Chicken Skewer
The corn eating chicken actually does taste better!

Mushroon Glaze Spring Roll with Minced Pork
Ashbrook Chardonnay
This white is slightly drier and apparently smokier (whatever that means).

Meat Ball in Tomato and Thyme

Castaing Duck Breast on Skewer
Chappelle De Potensac
At this point, I have no freaking idea what I was drinking. 1 Pink, 2 white, and oo a red!

Grilled Lamb Cutlets, Sauce Vierge

1824 Sirloin Strips on Skewers, Red Wine Sauce
Carmen Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
I was feeling a little too happy for the event. The world seems too beautiful and my group manager is as red as a lobster.
Ruby Port
Oh, my second personal favourite!
Tea or Coffee
The warm espresso made me feel slightly better.

At the end of the event, I bought 2 miniature bottle of Innisskillin icewine which I totally adore and can probably finish them in a gulp. HAHA. Now you girls know what to get for me for my next birthday!
