    the exact phrase i heard before in EL1101E was ‘did you know there are 32 words for snow in one of the eskimo languages’? It was meant to demonstrate the context in which linguistics evolve..

    i hence conclude that the Eskimo language is extremely versatile.. 32 words for every freaking word under the … sun (maybe except the word ‘sun).. hmm..
