Behaving as though we were 14, we headed to Lotte World! (Yes I know, what’s Lotte World when you’ve been to the ones in the states.) But it wasn’t too bad for a mere 35,000 won (approx SGD40~)!

Some of the rides were nerve-wreaking (Our favourite! Speedboat-like-ride running at 70km/h!), heart-stopping (Bungee-jump-like-ride) and hilarious (Simulated cowboy shooting game involving a plastic motion horse with a bunch of youth! The photos of the losers (those with the lowest scores) were shown at the end of the game! Thankfully (and surprisingly), I wasn’t at the bottom three!).

Initially, we were all excited and energetic.

At the end of the day, we were too worn-out for any more rides. Our age is definitely catching up with us! Hmph.

That’s all for tonight! Will post again once I get the “blogging groove” back!

There was a LOT of seafood. Strange looking ones, amazingly huge mussels and live octopus.

My only regret. Failing to try the crabs. Sigh. The language barrier, shallow pocket and aggressive Ajimas didn’t help.

In Korea, the umbrella-ella-ella-eh-eh you carry displays your fashion style and they are not limited by simple solid colour Giordano umbrella (their Giordano do not sell umbrella. -_- )

So. We got ourselves cute umbrella-ella-ella-eh-eh …

Having bought 40 face masks myself and 20 face masks by my partner, how can we not treat ourselves to these cheap facial galore while we were there!

A perfect morning. A perfect breakfast. Hmmmm. Perfect.

“On the tip of Yeongdo Island, southwest of the downtown area. It is a very hilly and heavily forested area with rugged cliffs dropping straight down to the sea 150 m below.”

If not for the heavy mist and the unpleasantly cold weather that day, this place would be perfect.

I love the sea, the cliff, the lighthouse (not in picture) and the liberty of standing at the edge of the cliff. But the stupid drizzle ruined my chance of venturing further than where I stood. Oh. The walking sucks though. HAHA.

Note: By now, you will realize that my posts are not in chronological order but randomly organized thoughts. HAHA.

It was a chilly day and there was practically nothing at the beach.

We could only take random retarded photos.

We walked around the area and decided to go for another hot spring session at Haeundae Spa Centre. This time we were soaking up the goodness from the sea water and it was soothing. After the sea-water soaking, we ate street food! The fried fritters (a choice of prawn, rice roll or green peppers) was juicy, succulent and yummy!

With an entire street of stores serving Bulgogi we can’t help but walk into one.

Awesome. Heh.

Thinking that it will be all touristy with temples, cable car and fortress gate, we underestimated the park.

First, it was all the peaceful temples.

Then the cable car ride.

After all the touristy fun, the real walk began (according to the announcement played in the cable car, we need an average time of 20 minutes to get to the fortress gate).

After 20 minutes, we were still walking.

After 35 minutes, we were finally there. Even with my weekly kickboxing regime, I failed to conquer the hill within the average time. Hmph. The thing that was even more depressing was that the extremely fit Ajimas (old ladies) outbeat us.

The fortress gate was a pretty sight.

A wise man (Colin Yew) once said, “One may find the walk returning from your destination point much shorter, easier or faster than your way there.”
He was right. HAH.

On the way down, we ate our lunch (bibimbap) at a little hut.

With the cooling breeze, rustling sound from the woody trees, and chirping music in the backdrop, it almost felt like I was transported into a Wu Xia Xiao Shou (Martial Arts Novel) waiting for my opponent to show up.

Other than shopping the other thing that is great about this place is eating!

Krispy Krème!

Note: This is the first post among the many for my Korea Trip. So stay tune!

I am over with Boys over Flowers. I must admit. I am a closet F4 fan. -_-

I’ve seen the original Japanese anime, the Taiwanese version and now the Korean version (just lacking Japan’s Hana Yori Dango ).

I realized Gu Jun Pyo looks just like Dao Ming Si! Oh Gu Jun Pyo.

And So Yi Jung is too cute to resist. He looks like a younger and cuter version of Taiwanese Pan Wei Po.

Sigh. My cool factor just went down by a 100 points.
