Freak. I am having diarrhea-like symptoms for the past three days.

Just got the letter from HDB and yes our housing grant adding to a total of SGD 65,000 (Free money from HDB!!) is approved. Thank God!

HAHA. It must be a joke. After proving myself for the past (XX) years in the academic realm, I have to prove myself again? HAHA. Against the wishes of my family and friends (sorry Erwin, I can’t do the butt flash and front/back roll thingy), I’ve decided not to put myself through the selection process. I want to enjoy my commencement together with my friends instead of stressing over what to say and how to say it right.

Hi

Congratulations! You have proven yourself to be the very best.

I am pleased to inform that you have been shortlisted as potential Valedictorian of your graduating class 2009 to be presented at the XXX Commencement Ceremony. We would like to invite you for an interview to select the Valedictorian 2009.

Date: June 2 Tuesday PM
Venue: Dean’s Meeting Room

As part of the selection process, you are required to submit:

(1) your CV
(2) an outline of your significant achievements and contributions to the School, as well as
(3) a draft of your possible Valedictorian speech.

Kindly submit to XXX (copied on this email) by June 1 Monday. XXX will then advise you on the specific time of your interview on June 2 Tuesday PM.

You should be proud of yourself (give yourself a good pat) for having come this far. Please feel free to give me a call XXX should you have any queries.

Cheers!

Regards
XXX

I am no longer expected First Class. Weeeeee. Thank God for all the Blessings, Grace and Patience upon me!

When I need to connect to the rest of the world (ppl on my MSN list), MSN let me down, even the freaking web messenger. gawd.

my friend in an ad

If you have seen this ad before, do take a second look. The bride who is supposed to look like a sad-bride-who-just-lost-her-mum-to-cancer is a close friend of mine (whose name shall not be mentioned). HAHA.

Her experience? The process was fun but being paid X amount for her face to appear EVERYWHERE (literally, it appeared in the train. -_-), she felt exploited.

shall not be mentioned
Oh. An updated picture of hers (some of my loyal reader may find her familiar, she appeared in my previous post before) HAHA.

SMRT is finally going the extra mile to shame those undeserving people who plant their gi-normous bum on the reserved seats. If you are not pregnant, carrying a child, injured or old, get off the seat bummer.

reserved seat

Now, I swear by the aphorism, “What goes around comes around”.

Next time if anyone hands you a flyer, take it. FREAKING TAKE IT.

My mum asked me how to set up FB account this afternoon. -_- I fear the day when she adds me to her list.

P/S: I will be giving out flyers on Thu and Fri at an undisclosed location (freaking crowded place -_-) to earn some quick bucks. Sigh. This is what happens when you go on a shopping fiesta in Seoul.  IF anyone out there recognized me, PLEASE do not call me or say hi. Just move on with life.

SPCA latest print ad

I recently came across this cute print ad from SPCA Singapore.

Together. 1.2.3. Awwwww.
