Backlog a little!

It’s nice to have a birthday celebration here at Vancouver!!! We secretly planned a birthday surprise for Dawn Young!!! Haha, her 22th birthday!!!

Plan A
Midnight surprises at her room! On Wednesday 28 Feb 11:45 pm, our crew (Me, Chelsea, Joel, Wen Jing and Beniah) gathered at my room, with the props ready, contingency plan all laid out we headed for Dawn’s room at 11:59pm. Painstakingly stick the “surprise” banner on the door hoping that she will not hear us. (She actually heard some “weird” sound outside and was rather scared, haha). Then knocked on her door and “SURPRISE!!!”

Then God actually gave Dawn an even better surprise!! It snowed!!! After not snowing in bout 3 weeks or so? So we decided to play some Frisbee, snow fights and build a snowbear (it is suppose to be a man, but we modified it a little) instead.

Plan B (1st March)
To catch Bombay Calling (a documentary about call centers in India), then pretend to not have any plans after the show which ended bout 9pm.

Meanwhile, the guys were on the bus with a bouquet of flowers heading to BC Sushi, a sushi buffet place (Dawn’s favorite food, Sushi!). Of course, Dawn and us were only suppose to meet them at the sushi place to give her a surprise, but the bus just wouldn’t bulge and we sort of caught up with the guys on the bus. So an early surprise! At dinner, we presented the gifts and cards and also ate our fills! Haha… Oh, forgot to mention Siu Kee’s attempt to not present his gift! Haha, Siu Kee actually bought a present on his own, not knowing that we are sharing the present, he attempted to slip the present into Dawn’s bag because he is just too shy! But of course, we will definitely not let him do that, and got him to present it to Dawn instead. Hahha…
